Voyager OS 3.6 Touch Surface Strangeness

Well I may have lost all credibility by now but...
I've been really exploring the Touch Surface (TS) functions in detail and it appears that the TS midi transmitted data is always sent "Normally" - even when "Inverse" is selected .
When TS Local is On (Master menu) and you assign a TS destination with it's default midi CC selected and also select Inverse, the local data will "fight" the midi data coming back into the Voyager causing strange artifacts and a non-smooth effect.
Also the Gate Control assigned function does not work with TS Local off (midi only) as follows: Assigning the Gate CTRL to Release Switch does not work at all and "Inverse" has the same effect as "Normal" on all the other assignable parameters. To get the "Inverse" to work you have to have TS Local on and Midi CTRL No = Off
I generally like to operate with Local control off, sending the midi data to Reaper where it turns it around and is sent back to the Voyager. But as stated the TS Inverse function does not work over midi. Now you might be thinking if you're using the midi data to go back to the Voyager then you should turn off the TS local. Only as I also stated the TS gate control does not work well over midi
