Access problem?

I recently purchased a Voyager Performer edition; it came with no manual.
When I downloaded the manual, I can't access any banks of presets other than bank A.
And they're different from the downloaded manual (Bank D is where Bank A is, it looks like).
I have software version 3.5, and the unit went to the factory for a tuning/once-over before it got shipped to me.
Am I missing something? I'm holding "cursor" and using +1 and -1 buttons. All they do is compare presets.
It looks like the downloaded manual is version 3.3 as well.
I owned 3 model D's back in the 1980's, and welcome presets now, just would like to hear them/build off of them.
They seem to have some colorful names.................

Try holding Enter and Cursor at the same time. See if that helps!

Hi,
pressing CURSOR and ENTER jumps to the next preset with the same category (backwards).
If you can't change the banks then I guess you have an old Voyager without the memory expansion.

OK, I can live with that. But is it possible to upgrade?

After checking Moog's website, there is a software upgrade that adds the extra presets, and also adds a function that the external knob on the mixer section can dial through presets.
I AM able to do this, so the upgrade must be in there!
Still can't access more than bank A.

You need a different hardware digital board for more preset.
And of cause you need the right software version able to access these additional presets.
The Moog Voyager was originally a single bank memory synth.
The new hardware enabled to use several banks.
So owners of an older, original version, bought the field upgrade from Moog to get the new board. I did this many years ago.

Is the old/new board ID's by the unit's serial #?

You might do so, but I have no clue what the number was when they changes it. And some users did change their board.
If there is the software 3.x or higher installed, you can test the presents of the other banks. And if it is running on lower then 3.0 versions, it is for sure the old hardware.
