Tempo is 1 step further per bar in mother 32

Help! Just bought mother 32 and trying to sync it to ableton. I switch on midi sync and it is possible to controk it temp (slower or faster) from ableton , but tempo on mother 32 is going 1 step further each bar so it is not correctly synced. Ableton beat is a bit different. What is the problem? What shall I do?
