Model 15 Ribbon Controler's MIDI Out CC Scaling Problem

(This is what lead to me discovering the problem with the jumpy CC data in my other recent thread)
My attempt to use the Model 15 Ribbon Controller as a MIDI CC controller in Logic Pro 9.x is showing me that only the middle third of the main ribbon (and the first 8th of the Aux Control) are sending MIDI CC messages. The MIDI activity LED on the UM-1ex confirms this is not an issue on the Mac side.
Is there any solution for this on my end, or is it a bug needing to be fixed by the developer of Model 15?
