I'm pretty sure the original by Gary Numan was played on a Model D. I need some kind of patch chart, and the actual sheet music, which I still can't find. If I had the music, I could work on a sound I'm satisfied with. I managed to get the Sugababes "Freak Like Me" sheet, but I have trouble reading sheet music, and what I was playing did not sound right.
So, help me out guys!
Oh, and please don't diss me for mentioning Gary Numan again.

[Apologies to all for this having little VOYAGER content]
There was also an SH2000 in the studio at the time of recording (along with the rented Minimoog).
You really shouldn't expect "patch sheets" to be available for every sound that you want to RE-create. Get to know your Voyager and you'll be able to create good approximations of everyone elses basic sounds off your own back.
You also need to appreciate that in many cases the sound you end up hearing on a track will probably have been subjected to effects and multitracking.....so it might not come "straight out of the box".
As for things not sounding right when you play them from sheet music ('cos you're not very good at reading it) - you surely aren't asking for help in that department here are you.
I've been playing synths for 30 years - and my pre-teenage kids can read music way better than I can.

Right now, I'm coming up with greater stuff on my Voyager.

Thank you very much man.
I'm still not sure about which octave some of those notes are played in.

Ok Boeing if you want to know the easiest way to play a published (say Mr. Numan's song) a quick way is to find a midi file of it eg this place i found by doing a quick search
http://www.anos80.com.br/Gary_Numan/Gary_Numan.htm (midis are at the bottom)
Then just import the midi file into your favorite sequencer eg Cubase/ Logic , and then just expand whichever track you want to learn and look at its piano bar layout which will tell you exactly what notes/chords are being played. Also its a very fun way to do your own version of that particular song and get some good practice in as well. By doing this you can either play along with the other midi tracks that are usually included , assign them to vst instruments for a totally different sound and when you are ready to jam just mute the track and play along.

I would like to thank TonyR for helping me out with this. I have just got myself a midi sequencer, and loaded my favourite Gary Numan songs in.
