I am new to sysx and have followed the instructions regarding downloading Midi-ox on my lap top and I I have the 3 calibration files. Running the low pot one now. It's been half an hour and the midi light is still red. Lots of lines of text on the midi-ox output display. How long should the procedure take? not knowing this means I don't know if it's all working. How long before the red midi light flashes? Thank you!

From your description and the screen shot, it looks as if there might be a MIDI loop. What are the physical MIDI connections you're using?

I can't test with MIDI-OX at the moment, but you can take these steps to eliminate any loops, and then give it another go:
  • Do not connect the MIDI out on your Sub 37 to your PC (just leave it unconnected).
  • Make sure any MIDI through functions on the Sub 37 are switched off.
To do this, press the MIDI button and set the ECHO functions to off:
MIDI MENU 2.3 > ECHO DIN IN: OFF
MIDI MENU 2.4 > ECHO USB IN: OFF

Many thanks for you assistance. I only had a single USB single USB connecting the sub to the lap top. I adjusted the subs midi settings as suggested an voila! The midi light flashed red in a second. Iam off to try it out and will let you know. Many thanks again.
