Figuring out the Preset Design Parameters

Hello,

Hopefully this isn't too stupid a question, however I am hoping that perhaps I missed something and someone can point me in the right direction.

I was wondering whether there was a way to move through the Sub-37 sub-menus and see the hidden design criteria for each of the preprogrammed presets that come with Sub-37. I know that you can go into the preset menus (Arpeggiator, Sequencer, Filter EG, Amp EG ..,etc), but other things like pot settings for filter cutoff, resonance, all EG functions and many others - a lot of these parameters are not within these menus - yet the unit has to be recording this parameter data in order to store the custom sound for each of the presets.
My intent here is purely for learning to really understand the fantastic versatility this great instrument has for designing custom sounds - and I am hoping some of you synth wizards might be able to help out with this.

Thanks,

Rick D

Have you installed the Software Editor? I think it is the only way to see the settings you are talking about. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about that. It is great for deconstructing presets and seeing what the hell is actually going on. Very good preset management as well. Once you have registered your unit they will send you a link to download the software.
