about the side panels

I wont actually mind if they use someyhing classy. Does anyone know what the material is called thats used on some of the nicer amps and some of the rhodes stuff? its like rough to the touch, black.. I think that would be better than straight plastic. Does anyone know if Moog is open to suggestions or if production of the Stage is already in progress. It seem Moog does consider customer feedback.

I think, by the concern shown, that this is wothy of some sort of campaign if its not too late.
