Sequencer question

I have 2 Mother 32's and I love them; they are the heart of my Eurorack (https://cdn.modulargrid.net/img/racks/m ... 282832.jpg), but I have finally, I think, run into something I want the Mother 32 to do that it can't. I'm hoping you folks can correct me.

Given that the sequencer can remember 64 patterns (8 banks of 8 patterns) it would sure be nice if I could send the Mother 32 a trigger which means "when this pattern ends, move to the next pattern in this bank" and maybe even another trigger which means "which this pattern ends, move to the next bank of patterns". And since you can set the ASSIGN output to trigger when a pattern starts, you can self patch its output to the "next pattern" input and effectively chain 8 patterns together for a total sequence of up to 256 notes.

This kind of triggering would also be handy for live performances. If, for example, you have a song with 2 sections - verse and chorus - you could use an external trigger (like a Pressure Points or even a sustain pedal hooked up via a foot controller module). So as the song progresses and you need to change the sequence from verse to chorus, you can trigger it once, go to the chorus, then trigger again to go back to the verse. Potentially for more complex songs, you could lay out 8 repeating sections in advance (intro verse chorus verse chorus bridge chorus outro). This would help me so so much.

Anyone know of anyway to do anything like this?
