Stupid Vibrato Question

Hi,
I have a probably very stupid question: How to add a little vibrato to a patch using the PEDAL modulation bus. Actually, also with very little of amount, the pitch varies too much. I use the filter envelope as shaping source. Perhaps, I have to choose something else (velocity or pressure doesn't provide a solution for me), but I have no clue. Any idea would be welcomed.

Hey!

I would say:
Source: LFO
Destination: Pitch
Controller: ModWheel or pedal
Amount: set the controller to max and increase Amount untill you're satisfied or just passed this point.

This way you can use the controller to go from nothing up to your max (though light) vibrato.

In fact, I need the Mod Wheel for something else. So, as you suggest, I use an expression pedal to limit the amount of modulation through the Pedal Modulation Bus and I can now get a slight vibrato. But it would be easier (at least to store that in the patch) if a little amount wouldn't given such huge modulation in the pitch. But I have perhaps miss something while programming my patch. Anyway, you give me a solution. Thanks.

t is also possible with the pedal bus if you set it to pressure, You can then use the aftertouch/pressure. It needs very careful setting of the amount, you will have to find the sweet spot, but it is possible. Don't forget to put the LFO source to saw and the destination on pitch.

I think a triangle LFO waveshape will be more suited ;)

Ok, I’ve only played an Old School Voyager, but IIRC, one of the busses of the Voayger is called Pedal Bus because if the controller is set to ON, and if a pedal is plugged, then the pedal is the controller. I might be wrong here but either the manual or some more experimented Mogguists thatn me will confirm/correct.

If so, my former post applies: set the pedal to full toe position, increase AMOUNT until the vibrato is the max acceptable value for you, et voilà :)
