Hi guys

I recently purchased the Minitaur and I'm having a big problem installing the new firmware through Sysex Librarian.

In order to use the 3.0 editor I need to install the 2.1 firmware, but when I follow the steps and open Sysex I do not see the Moog Minitaur in the destination drop-down menu, I'm only seeing "in" and "act as source for other program"

The Minitaur is in Boot Loader mode (glide blinking)

Please help!

I had the same problem, here's what I did to fix it:

When you are at the step where the Glide button is blinking, search for "audio MIDI setup" on Spotlight.

Open Audio MIDI Setup

Go to Window -> Show MIDI Studio (or press cmd + 2). A new window should open.

In MIDI Studio window, you should see the Minitaur listed (though it's not showing up in the Librarian)

In the MIDI Studio window, look for a dropdown menu (the word "configuration" is written below)

You can probably only choose between Default, New Configuration, and Edit Configuration. Choose New Configuration and give it any random ol' name

Switch to the new configuration from the dropdown menu, and switch back to default

Hopefully, Sysex Librarian now sees your Minitaur!

Hello! Just did what you suggested and Minitaur did not appear in the list. Are there any other ideas?

Hello,

I don't know from which firmware you install the 2.1,
but before upgrading to 2.1, uprgrade to 2.0 first..

I'm not sure at all but I remember I have had this problem, and solved it by this way..
Maybe I'm wrong..
=)

I realize this is old, but I was having the same problem. In the window of the 'audio midi setup' where it shows the configuration, the IAC driver must be online for the above solution to work.
