just wondering how much one would cost brand new? i heard that these things were 'too expensive for normal people to buy' so itmakes me wonder as to how much these things really cost.

if you're in canada, it would help out alot since i live in vancouver. thanks!

i got mine at long and mcquade for $350 canadian

it's not like you have to take out a second mortgage on your house to buy one. the mf-101 specifically doesn't really seem out of the ordinary price-wise when looking at other stand-alone analog filters on the market.
