Hi,

I own a Sub 37 and I'm quite happy with it, but I noticed that it emitted a noise (something like a coil whine) even when it was turned off. This happens only from time to time, and then it stops for another 5 minutes. Probably something with the power stage, but should I be worried ?

sounds like a capacitor in the power supply is unhappy man (if its high pitched)...its not normal. mine is completely silent when off.

are you saying the noise is happening through the outputs? or is it actually coming from the unit when you put your ear close to it? each will point to a different issue...

i would say its a hint of bigger problems to come soon... i would take it back whilst still under warranty...

Hello thanks for your answer. No it doesn't come from the output, it is coming from the unit itself. It also does this sound when it's on but it's weird it does it when it's off. I suspect something linked to the power supply block maybe.
