Moog 702 modules... 99% complete...!

Post by noddyspuncture » Thu Nov 19, 2015 5:20 pm

Hi folks,

Here is what I posted on my f/b page...

Take two old Moog 702 modules - (if you're lucky - there is a bit of luck involved..!) - which are only half built, with one half completely missing. Spend a couple of months with them, examining them, drawing out their circuits, getting to know them, mulling over what the missing parts might be or do...? Then get to work. Build your own substitutes for the missing bits and try and get them all to work together. It's been a bit of a mammoth task this has.... but here, for the first time ever, are two Moog 702's playing together on my first testing of them... next up will be a custom case to house these 702's and also the 701's and then a triple noise generator, a 'random' generator and I also plan to include a gate sequencer which will be controlled via my analogue sequencer so that these modules and my Moog's can all play together. My brain hurts... :D

Here is the video... comments not compulsory, BTW... :!:
