if anyone is interested upped a few mp3's of my fender rhodes suitcase being mangled by moogerfoogers. Moogers controlled by pedals and modular synth. The violin like sustained sounds is the lp filters res self oscing and pitch controlled by pedal. Some overdubs in a few tracks

...I'm trying to do the same things myself with a ring mod and filter, with a Charlie Hunter 8 string hybrid bass/guitar...
These analog effects just get sounds and TONE you can't get with digital.
Have you considered getting the CP251, or do you think you have greater flexibility using multiple pedals than plugging into the CP251?

Yes i would ad another controller but not necessarily the cp. For a few hundred dollars more you could get a small analogue modular synth, this way you could choose you lfo's modulators type and have a synth into the bargain. It is impossible to get the same sounds using expression pedals, unless you could vibrate you feet hundreds of times a second! The moogers hooked up to a modular gives amazing sonic possibilities. For example i use theremins to controll my moogers.

Did you do the cv mod on the therimin? Nice sounds by the way.
