Hey!
So I bought the bubinga electric blue from sweetwater about 6 moths ago, but really wish I went with the rack mount version with a both the VX- expanders...
I also own the Vx-351 and CP-251.
Now I feel like I am stuck with mine... What should i do....

why do you think you made a mistake? Other than RME's are tough to find at a reasonable price anymore.

I'm sure someone out there would love a special edition Bubinga EB Select. If you're not happy with it then by all means pass it onto someone who would really appreciate it. I don't understand your purchase lament.
BTW, I just bought a Bubinga EB Special Edition bundle package from Sweetwater too with the CP-251 and VX-351 less than a month ago and couldn't be happier.

That is one sweet-looking Voyager. Don't look back, you did good.
I've had my EB for 10 years and haven't regretted it ever.
Enjoy your Voyager and keep twisting those knobs!

Thanks everyone! I think I just wish I could get a front rack mounted panel for all the Rear Voyager ports... Kinda want a more modular feel to it.

I only lament the fact, I want more of a modular feel! I think thats it lol So I am cooking up some ideas.

I wanted to get the Bubinga bundle. It's still a good value but went with the RME and expanders and saved quite a bit of $ and space. I had enough left over to set up a rack of foogers to go with my semi-modular Moog set-up.

I just got a Voyager and had similar thoughts about wanting the patch points on a rack.
Just use a 1U patch panel. Run a snake of 1/4" cables (I know, not as nice as a crusty old 25 pin serial/printer cable <g>) to the back of it and label the front ports.

Its not quite as simple as that as the the rear ports have functionality with things are not plugged in ie. constant voltage with nothing.

Solution for that might be found in this thread:

The workaround seems to involve dummy plugs
