Sub 37 Filter-modulating

Hi,
to modulate the filter cut off I used -beside the intern possibilities- an expression pedal at
the Filter CV input and it worked that way.
It also should work with an extern LFO switched to that input, am I right?
I recently found informations about our German Doepfer modular system, but that's a big
deal for only one LFO. So, does anyone know other manufacturers of modular stuff?
