Sync Delay and Sub 37

Hello

Thank you in advance for any advice you may have and for putting up with my newness to synths. I got my Sub 37 4 days ago and have been enjoying it very much. I would like to add some delay in a live performance situation and have the delay stay in sync with the Sub 37's arp or sequencer via MIDI. This is what I have tried thus far, tap tempo on my EHX Stereo Memory Man, (I got close, but I'd like to be closer) and I tried MIDI out of the Sub 37 to my POD HD500 just in case the POD's manual was wrong and I could sync the effects but it's not and I can't.

So the two new options I was considering for live use (I play solo experimental and electronic) are a delay box or pedal of some kind that has MIDI in or going in a completely different direction and getting Abelton Live 9 (probably the mid priced version) and using my MacBook Pro and sync everything though Abelton.

In the past I played folk and rock and eventually morphed into experimental and electronic so I'm still a bit new to all the ways MIDI can work and way new to all the ways the Sub 37 can sound. So any experience or suggestions are more than welcome. Thank you again for your help.

*Edit solved my own issue. Sub 37 sounds best to me solo, no effects. I did try the looper with the POD HD and that my be an option but my favorite sounds thus far is raw 37.
