other sources for CV signals

I've got a CP-251, I'd like to explore the mixer and thought it might be fun to another CV source but

I was wondering are there other pedals like it made by different companies?, I'm just curious what else is out there and what people's experiences were with them

I know the MP-201 but not sure its exactly what I want (I'd prefer a knob over an pedal for the LFO) and aren't those discontinued? Oh well

I've done a few google searches but I'm not sure what to call this type of pedal.....

So far I've found these

Anyone have any favorites?

Korg SQ-1 - Cheaper and cheerfuller (that is a word, right?) - great performance options to rapidly change number of steps, mute steps, 2x8 or 1x16. One drawback is if you try to change mode, eg. from 2x8 forward to 2x8 backward, when you move the mode switch it immediately resets the sequence to first step, so you have to time it exactly. As long as you avoid that, it is great, and $99 in USA.

Not an effect pedal, but the Arturia MicroBrute provides multiple CV sources and some sync-to-MIDI options. I use it mostly as a CV source, but like its tone as a synth, too.

The Arturia BeatStep Pro Controller/Sequencer should be available by the end of the month:

http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/BeatStepPro

MIDI/USB/CV/Gate/DIN Sync/iOS
Two separate 64-note Sequencers
Plus a 16-track Drum Sequencer with Realtime and Step Sequencing
16 Pressure-sensitive Pads, 16 Step Buttons, 16 Encoder Knobs
Each of the two melodic sequencers has 16 Projects of its own
Each of their 16 Projects has 16 Sequences
Performance functions include a looper with touch strip, a randomizer with randomness controls, swing settings, and more.

I'm making a video next week...

I have used them together. You can use the LFO from the CP-251 as the analog clock, and the sensor along with an attenuator to slow down the LFO, so that you can do live ritardandos with the Drumatix and the MIDI clock as slaves. Fantastic!
