A lot of us have this! It appears to be the rear aluminium part is a bit too wide (vs the other parts inc the control panel). I just ignore it now but would have been nice to not be there letting dust in.

Hi guys,
Andy Hughes from Moog Tech Support here.
We have a small insert that you can easily install at home that will prevent dust from getting in through that gap, as well as preventing the backlighting from the display form showing in the gap.
Contact me at
andy@moogmusic.com or by phone (8280-251-0090 xt 221, 217, or 204 for assistance. We can send this insert out to you at no charge, and walk you through the installation.
Thanks,
Andy Hughes

Hi Andy, I received my rubber insert to fill the gap. Any chance you could post a set of install instructions? It might save you a bunch of phone time and keep me from effin' it up

I think the it would be a very good idea also for solving the other problems.
The best would be via short videos

I just checked mine, and indeed, there is a slight mismatch, around a millimeter or less.
No light from the screen goes out though. Maybe at some point Moog began installing that screenlight blocking stuff.
I don't imagine dismantling all the thing just to sand down one millimeter off the aluminium back (doing it properly is out of my reach anyway).
I must say I don't care much, as long as the synth works perfectly (pots and keys and sound).
All the best,
Greg
