Mod Source not responding. Is my Sub Phatty broken?

I just bought a used Moog Sub Phatty. Unortunately, the modulation source (LFO waveform) knob is not responding. I have no experience with this thing, so I'm hoping for your slutty expertise before I pass it off as broken and return it.

The sound gets modulated, and I can modify its depth and rate. The only problem is that the 'source' knob won't change LFO shapes. Changing presets change the mod source accordingly though, and I can change the mod source in the editor via USB. But the physical knob doesn't do anything as far as I can tell.

Is there some hidden feature that may have changed the function of this knob? Is it probable that there is just a connector that came loose during shipping? Any other ideas? It would be a shame to return it just because I missed something.

I had the exact same issue with my SubPhatty and the LFO switch itself needed replacing.
The repair was $167 from the local authorized service centre in Toronto which in my experience is pretty steep for a single switch replacement so I'm assuming it requires fairly extensive disassembly / reassembly to access it

I would contact Moog support anyways - they might be able to help you out somehow...

Doesn't sound too promising. Oh well. Thanks for answering!

Mine (SubPhatty) just started doing that too. The resonance knob is on the fritz too. :(

I'm suspecting cheap surface mount component vs through hole. Grr.
