hay guys so I have the new keybed (parts doner)

So I wanted to take this slow and easy, first steps I wantecd to do is:

1. Remove all the doner keytops.
2. Remove all keyparts from old moog keybed.
3. Put in boxes and store away as to tell what OTHER paprts I might need to buy/order.

Do the keys matter their location or are they fine in a huge box?

I really just want to get in there and see what the condition of the moog keybed is.

NOTE: they new keybed is not from a moog, its a pratt reed keybed from 1975 and is different but bushing and keytops are same, most is ame but the contacts are not the same.

You can mix 'em up no problem, they have note letters molded into them, underneath.

sweet thanks, I now have 4 sets and my moog is sparkling white.

I did not see the key notes yet! Will look!
so happy with $800 of moog keys!

Not the $64 question do I sand down my moog wood? :|

I'd leave the wood. It's got character and if you want to make the wood really nice, you've got to take it all apart, sand through a few grits etc etc. Just clean with a wood furniture cleaner or some mild cleansing wipes and let it go. You can always tackle the wood case as a different project down the line. - there are probably more pressing issues..?

Aluminum trim disks for the knobs available at CAE sound BTW..
