Hello, I have been lurking around the forum for quite a while and decided to joined. I have a very important question. I need some pointer on how to do a rolling bass. This is a bass that is very common in the 90's R&B. I was told to do a glissando, however, that didn't work so well. Because from what I hear in some songs ( I.e, Boy2 Men - Bended Knee) these rolling bass are really quick and it appears to me that the human cannot do this. Here is a reference. Please watch this video and you'll know what I'm talking about. At 8 seconds you can hear the moog slide. I figured it's a pitch automation?

If its just the single shot sound you could use an envelope mapped to pitch

It can be done with a fast glide from a low note to a high one at the start, when the pitch goes up rapidly, and then quickly switch off the glide and slide your fingers down on the keys, from the highest note, for the down part to create the glissando.
