Should I Buy Used or New??

Whats some of your opinions on buying used Moog gear? Say I wanted to buy a bunch of used Moogerfoogers or a Voyager. Are there any downfalls besides cosmetic wear & tear & other obvious red flags to look out for? Also, how hard is it to buy Moog replacement parts for things that are currently in production? This might seem like an odd question, but I'd really appreciate it if somebody with the knowledge could chime in. Thanks

These things are new enough that I would not worry about replacement parts. Cosmetic and wear & tear are subjective, only you can decide on that. I bought a used MF101 with no problem.

I've only bought one Fooger and the VX new. The Voyager and 9 other Foogers used. I have no problems with them. Test them when you buy them.

Buying used is fine. Moog will service them if needed and if you are lucky, you can buy parts. In fact, you can buy all kinds of parts for most of their projects.

Moog sell parts directly, and also there is this outfit:

Depending on what you are after, you can literally M A K E an entire synth by buying every piece of the chassis, circuit board and pot boards, power supply, etc. Obviously it will cost you more $$ this way
But if you want new case for your Voyager in Cherry, it's there.
Replace the analog board of your Little Phatty, no problem.
LHC or keyboard replacement, all affordable.
