I discovered that I can't do midi learn of the LFO rate knobs when SYNC is enabled for the LFO's.
Took me a while to figure out, but it just doesn't. Disabling SYNC let's me.

Hi phy6,

An interesting find! I connected my Sub 37 to my Mac via USB and used MIDI Monitor to confirm that LFO 1 RATE was sending CC# 3, but *only* when its SYNC LED was dark.

What's far stranger is the fact that my Sub 37 (v 1.0.8 +1.0.9) *only responds* to CC# 3 when the SYNC LED is lit.

So... it only sends in one mode but only receives in the other mode. Weird.

Good catch, phy6!

I think one clue is that the owner's manual has CC#3 and CC#8 listed for LFO 1 and 2 CLOCK DIVIDERs (pg. 45) as well as for LFO 1 and 2 RATEs (pg. 46).

But...

The LFO CLOCK DIVIDERs and LFO RATEs have *different* Non-Registered Parameter Numbers (pg. 49-50):

LFO 1 RATE = NRPN 423
LFO 2 RATE = NRPN 448
LFO 1 CLOCK DIVIDER = 427
LFO 2 CLOCK DIVIDER = 452
