The unit was working fine, it slipped and touched off a mixing desk.
possibly shorted off the case of the desk which is going to ground.
it's working grand when signal is bypass, but when i try to switch it on
the light is off and none of the signal is making it through.
any help would be much appreciatedthanks

If you haven't already, check the battery. It's probably either dead or dislodged inside the case.

That's no good.
When you said it touched off the edge of a mixing desk, are you saying you dropped it, or just touched it to the edge of the mixer? If you dropped it, something inside could've gotten dislodged. Isn't there a ribbon cable attached to the switch? Maybe that has become unseated. If it was an electrical zap, then you may be seriously out of luck.
If it's new enough, you should just contact Moog customer service.
