Does anyone know of any mods or patches that would accomplish this? Would sending an inverted ENVELOPE OUT signal to the CUTOFF IN jack accomplish this?

Have a look through this first:

Basically you will need to attenuate your envelope CV after it is inverted (i.e add +5V) because the CV is not bipolar. (A bipolar CV would be +x to -x).

It should work after this. Hope it helps; the thread is quite useful.

Is the inverted output negative CV or positive CV? I think it needs to be positive correct? Are you sure this would work?

it is the way.
101 env out to cp251 mixer. Negative (inverted) out to cutoff.

you can even run the positive signal to the phaser sweep and have 2 sweeps going in different directions.

Thanks, kb. Any chance I can get a sound clip of the inverted sweep? I read somewhere that it doesn't sound like a typical down-sweep. I understood that it sounds more like a "owwaahh" instead of a "owwwww"

I can't mp3 just yet. But, I do have some wild recordings to share when I get a chance.
