Well, you can't expect a new product every time! :)

Especially with Bob gone....

From the threads ive been following on Harmony central, its been the score for some time that moog were not gonna exhibit at this Namm. I think its a wise move.

If they are gonna launch a new instrument, then its best to do it once other competitors have shown their cards. DSI have shown the MEK and i think Moog have played their cards right not showing any new products this time. It wouldnt have had as much impact with a board like the MEK being launched.

I reckon we can look forward to MESSE in March knowing that its very likely a serious new Moog product(s) will appear. There are already plenty of amazing Moog products for us to buy already so be happy that we still have a great choice of gear anyway. Yeah its slightly disappointing but i bet the wait will be worth it.

Wear a bib - Buchla 200e pics and other modular pics are there

Those are some excellent photos! Alot of them look like they were taken from analoguehaven's booth. The 200e was pretty cool, expecially the new 'thunder' type controller (very nice). But I'll tell you the knobs on that thing wobbled to an alarming degree. Just like the SOS article pointed out. It just didn't feel like quality and it should be better. I wanted to tell Don something but who the hell am I? Even though I could afford one Don would've kicked my @ss with his cowboy hat and buchla belt buckle

I knew nothing about moog before this years namm other than that they existed, but when i walked by the booth yesterday i had to stop and see what the hell was going on there. Now, after checking out the website and listening to the samples i still don't know anything about moog other than that i want a voyager and a moogerfooger and that i can't afford either one.

Oyster-

I was thinking the same thing. You can check the samples here. Not too impressive for the price but it sure looks nice.

Well, it certainly looks nice. Sounds nice too. I'll add it to the long list of things I want but will never buy :)

The mono Evolver keyboard sure looks neat, but I fail to see the point. Why wouldn't you just buy the poly one for only a bit more $$$ ?

Haa, the Memotron. Looks very nice and sounds cool. I did think it was a little too expensive for a rompler, and i didn't like the feel of the keys. That's just me though, I thought the keys on my old arp odyssey felt better. But it does look cool.

I bought the Polyevolver rack synth before the keyboard version was ever released (Drat!). I can program everything on the module, but with all of those features it can take a while. So, my options are to get an Evolver to use with the Poly rack or the new monophonic keyboard.

I think it will be good for anyone needing a good, "more affordable" Evolver keyboard just like the one everyone wants Moog to release, and it will allow extra control for those of us who got the Poly rack. Plus, with the single Evolver/Evolver keyboard you are able to make patches that aren't sensible on the Poly and vice versa.

I see, I didn't think of that. That would be useful!
