Problem with Trem light

The light on my Trem pedal has quit working. It was working fine when I bought it, but after a couple of weeks it became very dim, then it would work fine for a bit, and now it has stopped working completely. It will flicker when the pedal is powered up, but it stays off when the pedal is engaged. Otherwise, the pedal works fine. Unfortunately, my local shop doesn't want to swap it out for me. Anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas? Thanks!

Are you using an AC adapter or battery? If battery, have you tried swapping it out for a new one?

I've only ever used AC power. I removed the battery as soon as I got it. Again, everything worked great for a couple of weeks and then the light started acting up.

Hi there,

Andy Hughes from the Moog Tech Lab here!

I am sorry the LED on your MF TREM is acting funny.

You can remove the bottom plate and very gently clean the contacts on the stomp switch PCB with alcohol, this may help.

If not, please contact me at 1-(828)-254-0090 ext. 221 or by email: andy@moogmusic.com

We will be happy to bring it to the factory and repair it under warranty for you.

Thanks,
Andy Hughes
