Is this for real?

I've been offered a 'brand new' Voyager in Maple with blue lit wheels and backlighting (in the UK). It sounds like a 'Select' model and I thought they were discontinued a couple of years ago. Is it genuine or is it likely to be old stock that's been on the shelf somewhere for a few years? Thanks

Unsold New Old Stock. Nothing wrong with that if it is unopened and not a demo unit.

It may not have some of the more recent design improvements like better aftertouch, Quiet II etc.?
Is there a serial number after which I know it will have these various improvements?
Thanks

I just bought a new maple / blue voyager a few weeks ago (big shop in Germany)
When I asked in a local shop they told me an insane price for the last select series (only 2 left in Germany)
I got mine for 2.999 eur, they wanted 3.800 (!)
Looks like maple wasn't insanely popular...
Depending on the shop, they didn't sell by the hundreds,
That means some have been in stock for a year.
So yes, this could be real.
Have fun with it, I'm sure you'll love it
*wide grin* I do

You could always ask Moog Music via email (with the serial number) to know if it has all the latest firmware and upgrades ?
According to Moog Music, the final Voyager Select produced has left the factory on january first 2013, so there are quite possibly many unsold stocks in stores still available for a bargain.

Check on Moog's website, they have a complete listing of which Voyager upgrades were done after which serial numbers.
