Minitaur software editor with cubase

Hi, so I've got my minitaur up and running as an analog synth just fine. But now I'm trying to setup the software editor in cubase 5. I've been through the instructions that come with the v3 download and everything responds as it describes. I've then placed the dll file in my vst plugin folder with all my other dll files... that all work perfectly btw. And there's no minitaur to be seen anywhere in cubase.

The standalone synth pops up on the desktop when opened just fine . But it says its got v3 software, yet disconnected. When I press keys in my midi keyboard the midi in light shows it's receiving signals but no sound is triggered.

I've followed all instruction to the letter, and scoured the net looking for answers. I really want to utilise the under the hood stuff but I'm having no joy atall :( anyone help ?

Windows 7, cubase 5,used in 32 bit. minitaur software v3.

I've got the same problem - the vst gets added to the blacklist so cubase has spotted a problem and won't load it. Tried it on windows7 and xp. Cubase 5.

I've also got the "hardware disconnected" problem so can't load any presets. Hmmm :( what's going on here?

It's a very common bug, a lot of people reported it. Amos is on it.

Is the vst not loading a common bug?
