Old School mod on Select?

Dumb question time.

I was an Old School owner for years and this past winter, I [essentially] traded it and got rid of another Midi controller, thus consolidating both functions into this lovely Select.

But I miss the Old School. With the exception of the rare times that I'm playing a soft synth (OP-X), I just use the Voyager as I did the Old School and the display and anything that is between the controls and the analog board is bugging me.

Is there any way within the code to go into Old School mode, that being every panel control bound to standard defaults with no hidden features enabled. Hidden features such as Panning that may be set a certain way or have modulation setup in some unusual way, filter poles, etc etc.

Don't get me wrong, the Voyager is amazing in some ways but really I just want it to behave more like the Old School, and that would be to run off the display also! :D

You could select "Preset Default PROG" patch and put the Voyager in "Panel Mode" and start using it like an Old School maybe ?

Or you could open up the back panel and rip all the digital stuff out of there !?
Just kidding...

Maybe remove the touch pad and insert an LCD oscilloscope then put a PolyMoog 1..9,0 keypad where the LCD is?

I do need Midi sometimes, but just want to go Old School when I want to play the Voyager. I'm a spoiled brat.

Are you chaining up your SlimPhatty's with your Little Phatty to make a 4 voice poly unit?

Hi, yes that is my intention. The Slim Phattys are now racked and ready to go. It's probably the only cost effective way to get close to a 'Poly Moog' at the moment.

Here's an interesting example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Exmrb1ce7aM

@johnts - that's the video that convinced me to build a Poly Phatty too. :D

I use my voyager in old school mode a good deal of the time maybe just changing the filter poles via the menu. when you have it in active panel mode it keeps the knobs settings even when you turn it off. but I really enjoy the xy pad and pot mapping though, I think that that is what really brings this synth to life
