Paint of my Little Phatty Stage Edition

Hi everyone,
I hope I can receive some advice from you on this.
My LP SE has an issue with the grey paint around the LCD: it has became really fragile

. I'm even afraid to touch it! I'm used to clean up my keyboards with only a dry cloth and sometimes with a drop of water. I'd like to repair it but I don't know how.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Some time ago I posted this but never had any reply. I think it will be impossible to repaint it. My question now is: Is it possible to order a new front panel for the Little Phatty SE? I'm quit handy (I installed the LP SEII myself!) so I believe that I would be able to make the transfer.
So if it's possible, I'd like to know how I can order it.
Let me know!

Hey Lania. Sorry to hear that.
You may want to contat Moog directly. This certainly is the best way to get an answer.

I did that after my first post in April but I received no reply.
Yesterday I contacted Moog support again and I received an answer almost right away!
I indeed can order a new front panel (only the metal plate) and apparently it's not that expensive! Shipping costs to The Netherlands might be high though...
I can't wait to fix it but it will be a major operation I'm afraid
I'll take some pictures and try to post them on the forum.

Yeah, please post some pics!!
On a side note, I visited Nijmegen and Amsterdam last week end, very quickly. I will go back there, that was nice

I will post some pics!
I still need to wait for the order to be processed though. I won't be home for a few weeks so it might take some time.
To be continued

This is the damaged paint on the panel. It's not really bad but I don't like it at all... I don't even know how it happened... My daughter maybe (she is only 3 and she loves to play on the Phatty!)

Thanks!
It was not too easy though:
I broke the value pot meter in the process but my husband was able to fix it nicely: it was not really damaged. Also the rubber button mat did not want to stay in place but at the end it went well. I thought at some point that the panel it self was too short or a little bit different but everything went back to it place when I put all the screws.
Between the LP SEII upgrade and this, no one will believe that this is one of the first edition of the LP Stage Edition! The side panel were grey and there was no USB! I'm really happy with the result!

Nice job. Good to know this is possible if I'm ever to damage the front panel of my most prized synthesizer.

Indeed totally possible!
I forgot to take pictures of me at work...
I do have some of me doing the LPSEII upgrade though.

How much did the new panel cost total with shipping and taxes?

The metal panel (and only that) was $25.75 USD and the shipping to The Netherlands (that's where I live) was $61.00 USD.
It can become expansive depending where you live.
I was annoyed by the damaged panel. It was, as you can see on the pics, around the little screen. So I was more than happy to replace the whole thing no matter the costs!
