Minimoog Voyager Chip defect?

Hello,

what happened to my Minimoog Voyager, sounds a bit strange: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=135fEncqcfU
its just 2 and a half year old. Has someone an idea?

My idea is that you should contact Moog directly. They have a really fantastic customer support service.

Do you get any oscillator sounds or just filter modulation? Are you able to control the osc via any other way than the keyboard. Some voyagers had a keyscan board which was defective, and no matter which preset the oscs would only click at their lowest possible voltage. This issue is a few years old though and rectified. IF that's the case you don't have to send the Voyager for repair you can do it yourself.

@ Erick: thx for the answer! i get oscillator sounds, but it depends on the Preset. leadpresets for example are totally out of order, sounds like just filtermodulation. some fx sounds working, but there is no different between pressing the deepest and the highest key, its just triggering the key-on/off information. maybe its just the lowest possible voltage. i also tried a midikeyboard (midi in) but its the same.
