Minifooger and Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 Plus

I couldn't find this information searching on the forums so I thought I'd create a new post.

I just purchased my first Minifooger Pedal (the drive - woot!), and had a question about powering it with my voodoo labs pp2. The pictures of the optional Moog power supply for the Minifooger pedals displays an output voltage of 9VDC and output amps at 550mA as seen here : http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MFoogerPwr/

Does the Minifooger pedal actually need 550mA of current? The Voodoo Labs instruction manual states that: "The only thing you can determine from the current rating of the supplied power adapter is that the effect will draw less than the specified value... You don't know how much less."

The regular outputs on the Voodoo Labs pp2 are 9v, either 100mA max current or 250mA max current. I could always combine two of the outlets for 9v 500mA with a current doubler coupler . . . but that is still short of 550mA.

How would you suggest powering the Minifooger on the Voodoo Labs pp2? Is the 9v 100mA max current enough? 9v 250mA? 9v 500mA? Or do I for certain need to use the optional power supply?

Thank you in advance for clearing up the confusion - looking forward to using my new Minifooger Drive!

The answer is in the manual, the last item in the specifications section.
