I had this brilliant idea yesterday. Forgot it, then remembered it again while making my down payment on the sub 37.

If Moog made a midi controller panel of all the under the hood features for the LP. I'd TOTALLY buy it!!!
Like an anorexicphatty (a slim fatty with less guts)

I mean, you could be clever and make it work with the sub phatty and sub37 as well.... All the buttons needed for writing a preset, setting the clock source, you know. All the cool stuff!

C'mon!
You know you want to!!!!

I'd pay $120 including the firmware upgrade to make it recognised... And some kind of bracket to make it attach to the top of the existing dash. I might pay more if it included a sequencer, actually is know I would!!?!?!??!?!!

Well alternately, someone who knows their midi could show us how to set up a midi interface to send messages to the LP like glide, arp clock etc. all these things have midi cc messages, I checked the manual.

Doesn't seem to be cc settings for overwrite etc so you'd still have to dig through the menu for that.

Fair suggestion, thank you! I should sort out my iPad to midi interface once and for all...

FWIW -
If you have a 30-pin iPad, I definitely recommend an Alesis iO Dock (original version), or you can wait for the new version to come out that supports 30-pin and Lightning connectors.

Been using my iPad 2 with an iO Dock for almost two years and am very happy with it!
The original version doesn't support SYSEX commands for some strange reason, but I really haven't missed that capability anyway.
Integration into my home hobby studio is great, and never had any issues with any of the MIDI or audio I/O with any of the many apps I regularly use.

well what you are saying it s very interesting .there are so many ways to tweak the midimoog so that we can ask for so many features to the engineers.i would be glad that if they can port my subphatty editor to linux,my life will be other,so i will get of the win 7 from pc and put linux.
