I have an LP Stage II and Im just curious what people most frequently use it for. Im positive there is no right or left answer so what are they? If you feel like really letting the pen flow how about letting us in on your reasoning behind your most favorite sound designs and concepts!

Capital
Stage 1 with CV out mod though, not a stage 2
Thought I'd keep it forever
It will be up for sale shortly

Wow thats a bummer, Im sorry to hear that.
I was hoping this would get a better response.
Is it because i was particular to the LP stage II?
How about all LPs?

I was using it live but stopped bringing it out. I was using it for Bass and Leads in my cover band on dance songs. I stopped bringing it out because I wanted to go down to 2 boards and started playing more guitar. I now use it in my practice studio.

I've owned a Stage I, and now a Stage II. Had it for quite a while. It's not my only synth, but it is a favorite. It gets used mainly for basses, and occasional lead sounds. I use "other" brands for sequences, sound fx, and the more esoteric stuff. Moog LP is more bread N butter in my set up.

I have the Sweetwater Solar Phatty with pre-installed CV Outs.
It's currently my only analog synth with Pitch/Filter/Amp/Mod Buss/Gate CV Outputs.
(I wish CV Outs were available on every analog synth made.)
So I use my Solar Phatty a lot to feed all my Moogerfoogers and two CP-251s.
I don't (as of yet) own any CV-based analog sequencers, so the Solar Phatty
is my singular source for Arpeggiated Control Voltages.
It also has such a sweet nuanced lead voice that's unlike anything else I own.
