Most useful Shift Mode functions in Sub

As I mentioned in another thread, I am new to synths and haven't jumped into the shift mode much in my Sub Phatty. I am really curious what other people find to be the best features of shift mode. Which functions do I really want to make sure I don't miss? Which ones do you think should have gotten their own knob on the main panel? Just curious and wanting to know where I should start exploring and spending a lot of time tweaking.

Play around with them all. I have fun with ...

Filter Envelope Delay
Filter Envelope Hold
Filter Envelope Repeat

Amplifier Envelope Delay
Amplifier Envelope Hold
Amplifier Envelope Repeat

Thanks! I was thinking that the ones associated with the envelopes might be the most fun. I will have to jump into these. especially the repeats. Still open to other ideas!

Besides the envelope one's, I really like these:
LFO keytrack - Nice way of simulating an OSC acting like a frequency modulator.
LFO wave amt to 1/2 or both OSC - Nice add on!
OSC Beat Freq and Gate Reset - Makes it possible to create enormous and heavy bass sounds.
Filter poles - Not exactly under the hood, but expands the sonic possibilities a lot!!

The velocity ones available for the envelopes are also very nice. In the end, almost everything matters. :)

I haven't checked, but are things one adjusts in Shift mode like pitch bend range, envelope delay, etc. saved with each patch or global to all patches?

Those types of settings are saved with the patch. Global settings like MIDI channel, etc are not saved per patch.
