Hello forum, currently the only MF pedal missing from my collection is the MURF, now, with the new MF105B out, I don't know which one to get.

The description posted at Moog's site describes the sound as a little bit darker than the original, but I don't know how usable would the 105B be with a guitar or string synth or any brigh sound.

The reason I'm interested in the 105B is because altough I am mainly a guitar player, I use my Moogerfoogers mainly with my synth setup which sometimes can include Bass sounds.

Do you guys think the 105B will be usable at all with bright sounds (Guitar, Piano, Pads Etc.....?

Thanks for your opinions.

Best regards, Daniel Trejo

If I could have caught my dealer before my Murf arrived I probably would have changed my order to the bass Murf - just for kicks.

The Murf had already arrived - so . . .

What I know so far about the Murf is that it can resonate 8 different notes (frequencies). The bass Murf does the same thing - just different notes.

If you dig bass frequencies more than the upper end of the spectrum than I would suggest taking a chance on the bass Murf.

I just might be waiting for someone to get a bass Murf so we can trade if he or she doesn't like it.

It's love / hate with me and the Murf. More about that after I spend some more time experimenting.

to be honest the murf is my least favorite out of all the modules. but that is not saying alot considering the fact that i love all of them!

if anyone has any cool murf patch configs.... please! please! post them.

yeah i know what you mean about the murf. i think it's cause it doesn't have a cv out. like an lfo or env out that you could then use to patch out to something. i still love the murf however and i will get a burf so that i can do some quadraphonic madness

the bands on the murf are rather low as it is on the original imo
