just regular 1/4 mono audio cable . the same cables you would use to hook a guitar up to an amp. audio and CV are the same thing .

Actually -
That will work, but if you plan to you an expression pedal in the mix, it's best to use TRS (tip-ring-sleeve, 3-conductor) patch cables.
The MoogerFooger CV jacks are wired such that if a TS (tip-sleeve, 2-conductor) cable is used in any of the jacks, an expression pedal will not function.
See the "Technical information" section of the MF-102 manual.
FWIW, I generally use TS cables for my audio patch connections, and TRS cables for the CV connections.
I've also used TRS cables in the audio jacks, and it worked fine.

He has a powered pedal though, so tip sleeve is fine.
If I were you, I would get a 104z with that setup or at least some other bbd delay with it, you won't be sorry. With that setup, some patch cables and some ideas, you will never run out of patches to mess with. I would also recommend the mp-201 rather than that old moog pedal you have. It is the best expression pedal ever, but also 4 mod busses, midi to cv for sequencing, S+H and noise. You have the best instrument ever made in the history of man as far as I am concerned, the original minimoog.

Bienvenue Greg
Indeed regular jacks will do it. I use TRS ("stereo") to connect an expression pedal or some particular FX (SubDecay Quasar DLX for example). Other than that, simple TS ("mono") cables will do the job.
Nice set-up.
