Please help!

Hi to all on the forum this is my first post and I'm sorry it's in such frustrating circumstances.
Also, I'm sorry if this has been covered in another thread but my problem could possibly have some specific details which make it unique so I thought I better post a-new..
I had updated my Sub to latest firmware (through the C6 method on my mac) successfully over a month ago and I've been getting some incredible use out of it (totally inlove with it) Problems started last night when for some reason the Active Panel mode stopped working.. i was only getting a clicking sound when pressing the notes (presets still worked) and then I lost all audio from the unit to both my interface and then straight into my speakers when checking. I thought something must be wrong so STUPIDLY I decided to redo the firmware installation again when in hindsight I'm sure there was a simpler and more non destructive reset to try first...
Anyway, I went ahead and cleared the firmware as per the instructions until the LFO light blinked on and off. Next I selected the SUb in the C6 config and loaded the bootloader v2. I sent it to the Sub but no midi light flashed.. only the LFO light still. Basically, the computer said 'sending' and went through the whole process but the Sub did not respond at all. Just the LFO light blinking. I tried a couple more times (which I have read is not a good idea since the event
) and still no change. It's really frustrating as I can't think of any other option.
Maybe somebody with a little more technical knowledge than I could offer some advice? I'd really appreciate it!
