Any way to move knobs to preset value without changing sound

It would be nice to be able to move the knobs to preset values and start tweaking from there, avoiding that sudden jump in sound when i move, say, the cutoff knob that's stored on 60 at the preset but might be at 140 after the last song/sound. I've read the manual but can't find anything.

I don't know about the Voyager, but with the Sub Phatty you can set the knob mode to Snap, Pass-through or Relative (the default). Looks like you have Snap, and Pass-through is what you want.

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's possible with Voyager.

You're not wrong, it's not possible.

that is one thing i really wish could be implemented on the voyager is the phatty's snap/pass/relative knob control. that would probably mean a complete redesign of the pots on the voyager. if i ever win the lotto, i will fund that project for a voyager xl

Actually, I think might be only a question of software modifications.
Rudi Linhard could probably confirm, or deny this ?

If that's the case, then there is the issue of the OS having room for an update like that. I've heard from Amos and others that the voyager software is pretty maxed out.

All bulk of the pots are single turn pots and then the octave knobs are another beast all together. The bulk of the pots would need to be replaced or, even crazier, have them be motorized so that they snap to the preset. (Could you imagine the failure rate for those?). Sounds like something to put on the wish list for a Voyager II. (Though I want a Voyager Poly before that!)

Voyager + RME + RME + RME + RME = 5 voice Polyphonic Voyager. It's been right there in front of us all this time. You think with all the R&D involved, it's gonna be any cheaper to put it all under one case?

oh, I know how to put one together (makes me think there should be a children's book called "Mr. Line wants to know how to be Mr. Square" - page two, THREE MORE LINES, DUMMY!), but making it less of an analog synth version of Twister (or in one sane, well laid out box) would be nice.
