I am trying to use my XL as a controller for another synth. I have an electribe feeding clock to the XL and I want the XL to pass the clock info to the next synth as well as the note data I am playing on the XL. I have midi merge on but I can't seem to get both note and clock out of either midi out or thru. Just one or the other. Am I doing something wrong or did Moog just decide midi clock isn't important to pass through the midi output and I simply can't do this?

The merge function is just for notes. If you need the MIDI clock use the Thru output.
