Anyone know whether or not the filed upgrade(the physical upgrades you have to mail into the shop) to have the OS 3.5 installed? I sent moog an email, but I figured 1: its the weekend and they wont get back to me till Monday-ish and 2: I might not be the only who may want this information, so I figured i'd make a thread about it.

I think it is ok to do so, but IDK.

The software updates are all user installable.
And the Voyager software 3.5 works fine on _all_ Voyagers (except the Old School version, obviously).
Please read all the update instruction if you upgrade from a version lower then 3.1. And back up your sound first (this is a good habit when doing updates on all kind of things).

But for the multiple patch storage bank, you need some hardware. Actually it is the digital board you need to exchange. This update was called 3.0 update when it was still advertised on the Moog Music pages. And it is not to confused with the software version 3.0 that was released at the same time and got some updates with new features later.

This is not a big job for electronic experienced people to exchange this board. But better let someone else do the job for you, if you never did such a thing before.

I just installed OS 3.5 on an Anniversary Edition Voyager from system 2.0.

Works fine no issues
