Modulate Filter Env Attack - Possible?

Had a bit of a disappointment tonight.. Got an Evolver a couple of months ago and quickly discovered a cool new effect: I routed a slow LFO to the filter env attack. Its a really great effect, every note sounds slightly different but in a great way. Very much different to just modulating the overall Env amount.. Anyway, my first thought was "cant wait to try this on my Voyager".

So, tonight being too tired for anything else I remembered this cool effect BUT(!) cant do it.. Really hoping I am missing something but pretty sure Im not. Please let me know if there is a way..

Looked at all the destinations in the PGM section and around the back at the CV inputs but looks like we cant do it.

Is it possible?

ta..

The envelope parameters for vol. and filter can both be modulated via the touch screen. You can also use them as shaping sources. Plus you can assign them via pot mapping.
But I don't believe you can hit the attack with just an LFO.

You can if you have a VX351. Route LFO out from the VX351 to ENV RATE on the Voyager rear panel jack. That'll affect attack decay and release all at once though, not just attack.

Hey - just looked and yep, you can do just the attack via the touch screen. Other than using some external MIDI lfo, I don't believe there is anyway to actually modulate this via an internal LFO. Correct?

Yeah, I have a 351 and I realised this but to be honest, I did not try it as was looking for just Attack aka my Evolver. Maybe this will give a good effect also. Looking forward to giving that a go tonight as trying to work at the mo.

Thanks - will let you know how I get on with the Env Rate..
