Prodigy with no sound? please help!

Hello,
I went to play my prodigy after opening it up and cleaning all of the dust out of it and all the sudden it powers up just fine but the only sound it makes is a faint static/wind noise when I hit a key. You can almost hear the synth voice hiding behind the noise if you turn the volume way up.
Led indicator is on
Switch makes a click noise when turned on
Volume knob makes static sound louder
No improvement in sound when I mess with the output jack
You can hear the keys engaging and they produce a windy noise when pressed
Attack and decay knobs seem have their effects on the wind noise.
Any ideas what this could be? I'm confused and exhausted from looking at it.
