Minimoog issues

I've been bringing a Minimoog back to life, after it had spent (presumably) years in a flightcase surrounded by rotting foam. It's pretty much up and running, but I have two remaining issues:

- Oscillator 3 is bleeding through faintly, even when off and with its volume at minimum

- Glide is painfully broken, as far as I can tell. When switched on, the Mini emits a drone which starts from the pitch of the last played key, which then wanders in an indeterminate direction.

I realise I should break out the schematics (particularly for the second issue), but can anyone give me any pointers? Could the bleed be the power supply and/or the board contacts? Thanks in advance.

You might try getting in touch with Kevin Lightner, who repairs these...his website is Synthfool.com. He also posts on this board.

As far as glide issues, that sounds a bit like a failing cap to me, but I'm no expert on Mini repair. I would look there on the schematics though..

+1 for kslight's advice.

I don't have the slightest idea why the glide would behave like that ? Especially if it is producing a drone with the pitch of the last note played when switched on (opening up the VCA or triggering the VCA envelope) ???
