Updating to 1.5 and 1.2

Help Please I'm having problems updating my MM's to 1.5 system and 1.2 boot system, anyone else had probs ? I'm using mac 9.2 os and logic 4.81 software with mtp av interface. I keep getting "system exclusive transfer has failed" followed by "Rom checksum error" any tips or help gratefully received, I got my moogs to get away from too much of this software business, oh well cheers

Hey Howard
load the 1.5 first but key thing is to play the midi file slowly about 50bpm then do the same with the 1.2 boot midi file. This problem happens a lot with all midi synths, the fact that you are getting a checksum error indicates that communication is ok between the computer and the synth.

I had some problems when using "state-of-the-art" MIDI interfaces. Specifically, my OS update failed via Digidesign Digi002 and Tascam FW1884. I ended up trying an el-cheapo Midiman USB interface and succeeding. Give it a shot, eh?
