Global ON/EXTERNAL

Is there a way to globally turn on [ON/EXTERNAL] so I don't have to switch it on for every preset when controlling the moog via CV?
Sure, just tried it. Send MIDI CC 87, value of 0-64 = off, and a value of 65 thru 127 turns it on.
EDIT: Think I read that wrong. You still have to send it every patch or save to the patch memory. Was thinking you did not want to hit the panel switch everytime. No global save for that parameter AFAIK, but it is saved with patch memory.
