104z the chip they are using

i wonder if they are using something made by these guys,

-what chip they used in the original
- " z
- " Sd

what difference in sound might there be?

the SD has MN3008's.i see two of them on top of the PCB,where the MN3005's went in the OG MF-104.underneath the MN3008's on the SD there looks like another PCB with probably two more MN3008's.

i think that there's another 4 or 5 MN3008's on that second PCB and there'll probably be 5 all up on the MF 104z. if i'm right that means that for every 5 104SD's they could have made 7 104Z's. which means that if they only made the z they could have made an extra 100 units all up.


MN3005 range 20.48ms - 204.8ms,

two of these would equal the short setting of the original 104


MN3008 range 10.28ms - 102.4ms

5 of these would make up the short setting on the 104z, and somewhere between 6 or 7 would make up the short setting of the SD.
